TC-IW 170

The Einhell TC-IW 170 inverter welder is a high performance tool for performing arc welding jobs with clean and exact results. It has infinitely controllable welding current to enable operation to be adapted to every situation. This means longer operations are no problem either: The fan cooling system keeps the inverter welder ready for action even under high load. For protection against overheating, the TC-IW 170 also has a thermostat with indicator light. The performance range for welding current is 20 to 150 A, while the potential capacity range for TIG welding is 30 to 170 A. The electrodes have a diameter of 1.6 to 3.2 millimeters. Thanks to the selector switch for electrode or TIG welding, the tool can also be used in combination with a TIG torch, available separately, to perform shielding gas welding. The inverter welder has a professional earth terminal and a professional electrode holder which can be connected by a quick-lock coupling. For mobile use the tool has a robust sheet steel housing with its own shoulder strap.
